Session One: Pathways and Initiatives towards Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Target
The 14th Five-Year-Plan and the Outline of Goals for Vision 2035 issued by the State Council stressed new requirements for business in the new era, addressing “formulate the action layout to achieve carbon emissions peak by 2030 and support key enterprises to take the lead in reaching carbon emission peak”, “elevate business technology innovation capabilities”, and “build new advantages of digital economy”. Business needs to closely adhere to national strategies, accelerate green and low-carbon development through innovation and transformation and handle the relationship between development and emission reduction, short-term and long-term planning, realizing the transformation of development pattern to resource-saving, environmental-friendly, ecological and healthy, green and low-carbon innovation.
