Session 1: Global Economic Governance and Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in the New Era
With world economy picking up, deep-rooted contradictions remain unsolved and great uncertainties still exist. In 2017, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully convened, and China enters a new era of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, putting forward new requirements for the economy.
The new era calls for joint efforts from the government, business and society to tackle new challenges and requirements, accelerate transformation and development, scale up economic sustainability, create new jobs, increase income and achieve inclusive development, so as to advance the sustainability of the whole society.
