蒋惟明博士于2007年5月出任荷兰皇家帝斯曼中国总裁。自担任中国总裁以来，蒋博士积极推动帝斯曼在中国的战略，在材料、健康和食品领域开拓更广泛的业务，使之契合在中国的发展 。
他同时致力于构建帝斯曼的品牌，为此进行了一系列的举措：如关注利益相关者、发布了中国的第一个可持续发展报告、将上海园区设立为帝斯曼在中国的总部、并将其作为中国的研发中心、推动材料和营养业务的关键投资和合作项目。蒋惟明博士于2006年加入帝斯曼，担任全球副总裁，负责亚太区的 战略项目。

Dr. Jiang Weiming

Dr. Weiming Jiang was appointed as DSM China President in May 2007. In this role, he is responsible to grow DSM’s existing business and develop a wide portfolio of business in the areas of Materials, Health and Food aligned to the development of China.
He has also been instrumental in building DSM’s brand and undertook key initiatives like focused stakeholder engagements, released the first Sustainability Report in China, built Shanghai Campus as DSM China’s HQ amongst its 22 sites nationwide, including its base as an R&D Center, drove key investments and cooperation in the Materials and Nutrition businesses.
Dr. Weiming Jiang joined DSM in August 2006 as Corporate Vice President, responsible for Strategic Projects in Asia Pacific. From 1991 – 2006, Dr. Jiang worked in Novozymes (former Novo Nordisk Enzymes Division) as Operations Manager, General Manager and Group Vice President/China President. He was selected as Vice-Chairman of China Business Council for Sustainable Development (CBCSD) in 2004 during his term in Novozymes. During 15 years of service with Novozymes, he led the development and growth of Novozymes business in China. It is great to see the engagement in many areas of regulatory establishment in China as a driver for bio-industry development, which falls in “Made in China 2025” plan.

Born in Shanghai, China in 1956, Dr. Jiang graduated from the Danish Royal Agricultural and Veterinary University with PhD in Agro in 1986. He is married with 2 children and enjoys classic music.
