嘉宾简介
杨富强博士毕业于吉林大学物理系。1977年2月至1984年9月，杨博士在中国科学院和国家计委能源研究所从事能源政策研究工作。
1984年，杨博士获世界银行麦克那马拉奖学金赴美国康乃尔大学工作。1991年获得美国西弗吉尼亚大学工业工程博士。
在1992年至1999年期间，杨博士在美国能源部劳伦斯伯克利国家实验室从事能源和环境政策研究工作。
1999年12月在美国能源基金会工作，2000年11月任美国能源基金会副主席、北京代表处首席代表。
2008年12月至2011年2月，杨富强博士加入世界自然基金会，担任全球气候变化应对计划主任。主要从事全球气候变化、能源政策、技术方案、资金支持等研究工作和行动计划。
杨富强现为自然资源保护委员会(NRDC) 的气候变化、能源和环境高级顾问。
杨富强博士三十多年来一直致力于中国的可持续能源战略和政策研究，在推进建筑、工业和交通部门节能、低碳生态城市、电力和可再生能源、应对气候变化等方面做了很多工作。同时，杨博士与国际各相关机构合作，开展国际范围内气候变化方面的政策研究与合作。
Fuqiang Yang is a senior adviser on climate change, energy and environment at the NRDC. He has been involved in energy and environmental issues for more than three decades. Mr Yang was director of global climate solutions at WWF International from 2008 to 2010. He was vice-president of the Energy Foundation and chief representative of the foundation’s office in Beijing from 2000 to 2008.
Earlier in his career, Mr Yang worked with the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on China’s energy and environmental issues. In 1984, he worked on regional energy planning at Cornell University as a fellow of the World Bank. Before he moved to the United States in 1984, he worked with the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission in China on renewable and rural energy policy, energy modelling and forecasting, project evaluation, and long-term planning. He has published dozens of papers and reports in those areas.
Mr Yang received his PhD in industrial engineering at West Virginia University (US) in 1991 and his BS in physics at Jilin University (China) in 1977.
